Description
The gates to this 15th Century country Manor House in Dorset.
The stable yard has been covered and made into a restaurant where we had lunch recently. It is glass roofed so don't go there on a hot day!
The meal was very good, and not expensive.

Great shot Andrea :)
Great shot!
WOW! It looks like it could need a gentle HAND(yman) or 10. Could be a very beautiful house, then.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
So evocative! I can imagine people living there, weaving tapestries or whatever it is they did with their days. As I'm sure I've mentioned, the first Europeans to permanently settle in what became Seattle arrived in 1851, so we have no architectural history here. A seriously old building would be one that somehow survived the 1889 fire. Something from the 15th century is mind boggling!
