Next Monday with be the 50th Anniversary of the first airing of the Monkees on tv. Here is my latest image done in comic style. Just a group portrait.

If I remember correctly, one of these guys played as a kid, in the fifties, in a TV show about circus life. Was it the drummer?
Yeah, I'm that old.
It was the drummer, Micky Dolenz (under the name Micky Braddock) and the show was "Circus Boy" 1957-59 if I'm not mistaken. I have seen some reruns ... I can't believe they bleached his hair!! THEN they straightened it for the first season of the Monkees. Poor guy started going bald early. He mostly wears hats now. This is a photo I took several years ago ... Micky and his sister Coco.
