Description

A Biue Hyacinth Macaw at an eco ranch near Campo Grande, Brazil. They fly in occasionally and feed on Brazil nuts that are placed on an old cart. Part of my journey around South America. More of that fascinating trip at my website cosmic-pearl.com

I stayed at a guesthouse in Campo Grande from where a minibus picked me up to head into the countryside of the Pantanal. Great place for wildlife viewing, particularly birds. I ate piranha fish and it tastes like, well, a mild fish. More here: cosmic pearl
