this was taken 8 hours after the cataract surgery. not the best solution but it works
as far as I know, the operation was a success and now I'm waiting for tomorrow to have the doctor remove the patch and check the work.
interesting living in a 2-dimensional world - gotta be careful on where I put my feet and other mundane tasks that we all take for granted.
I give an update tomorrow after the post-op visit

My wife had cataract surgery a couple of weeks ago. Her vision improved from pretty bad to better than 20/20 in that eye & she is going to have the other eye done in a few weeks. The worst part is having to put various drops in her eye several times a day for several weeks, but that's a small price to pay for much improved vision. Good luck with your eye, Mike - hope you see the same kind of improvement...
Cataract surgery usually turns out pretty well, depth perception shot to hell with one patched eye though. I kad a skin Cancer under my right eye removed and some plastic surgery to make the face somewhat normal. Had my eye eye all patched for a while knew it wasn't safe to Drive but thought riding a Bicycle would be OK...WRONG kept running into things kept walking into things too, funny how you take that depth perception thing for granted till you ain't got none....Luck my Friend

Well, it's great to see you getting about this sooner after your surgery, but when Mum (blondeblurr) had her op, she could see straight away and only had to wear a plastic cup thingie over her eye, hopefully the wraps will come off soon and you can shoot all those critters hiding in the woods once more.
