Description
Captured 6/5/16 @ 11:05 am, of course at the beautiful Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance, held on the vast grounds of the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
The Mercedes-Benz 220S was an inline 6-cylinder sedan, coupé, and convertible made from 1954 to 1959. It was one in a series of Mercedes-Benz models to informally receive the "Ponton" nickname. This was in reference to the unibody-type, pontoon-shaped exterior styling which was also featured on the later W128 line.

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz? / My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.
What a cool old Mercedes, such a model a friend of mine drove in the 70s. The number plate looks somehow german, the first letter means the city where the car is registered. Here I see a "W", the letter for the city Wuppertal. Excellent photographs.
Majestic car and a great shot :)
Marvelous... just MARVELOUS !!!
