Description
This very common Hoverfly breeds any where that there is a bit of still water for it's larvae..the 'Rat-Tailed maggots'.
Plenty of choice in my patch of garden..buckets, ponds, all sorts of ideal breeding grounds!
The petals were eaten off those daisies by snails.
