France 26th of July: Terror attack in a Church near Rouen: Priest killed (his throat was cut with a knife) in hostage-taking!
One hostage has been killed in a standoff in a church in the northern French town of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray.
French President Francois Hollande tells reporters that tuesday's deadly attack at a catholic church in Normandy was carried out by "by two terrorists in the name of Daesh" - another name for ISIS.

Sorry to say, Ute, but evil is stronger than good. Good always has to go through extremes to even conquer just one small facet of evil. In any event, ISIS must be eradicated from the face of the earth. What they do is barbaric at best. Other than that, a stark striking image you have created to reflect these outrageous tragedies.

Great image, Ute. I don't get the visual connection to terrorism. Looks more like a protest of police shooting blacks in the US, which is largely a fiction perpetrated by the media.
A heartfelt and beautiful tribute for this priest who had faith in God and in Man. This horrendous killing is also highly symbolical and questions our own faith and values in the Western world.....
When will we ever learn to live together in peace?
Maybe time to bring back the crusaders and knights Templar. For every non-muslim that's killed, punish 10 muslims in accordance with their sharia laws. They all want to die for Allah as martyrs. Well, help them on their way. But let them understand that killing non-muslims is NOT the way to go.

Powerful image and tribute! I agree with you, Ute. It is time to wake up and make strong decisions. What we are all facing, if it gets out of control, is unimaginable. We need politicians who are capable of taking action against this terrible threat to our culture. I am glad that you are 'awake' and are not indifferent as many others are, like sheep waiting for slaughter.
