Thanks to all who take the time to comment.
One point - nature is not cruel, organisms eat other organisms to ensure their survival. Don't hate the not so cute for eating the cute.

A brave man to stand up against the bear. Nature is nature. Everything has to eat and that means something has to die.
You had to be a good aim in those days, or else...
Very beautiful artwork !!

Very brave this watts or is, great job on atmosphere.
Wonderful dramatic scene my friend!!!
Can you imagine the total fear at seeing this huge animal still upright after you've put so many arrows in it? Life was not easy back then. I am grateful for living in this time. On a side note. killing an animal for food and clothing is totally different from senseless killing for sport.
Impressive scene, nice render style !
beautiful !
outstanding atmosphere and composition. A wolverine was photographed in the Sierra Madre mountains in California.they are nearly extinct
Well stated. Your artwork is taking such a fine direction. I am loving the new art you are presenting. Very fine work.

I think he may have waited too long! That bear has a lot of momentum and will likely be on top of him before the arrow does its job! Excellent image! Well done!
