Description

Gralha-azul (Cyanocorax caeruleus). Aparados da Serra National Park, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. These birds stock up on Araucaria seeds for the winter months, playing a part in the conservation of forests. Not fast enough to prevent its habitat from diminishing, of course. The IUCN describes the species' status as "Near Threatened". Thank you for the comments here and on previous images. Any kind of feedback is appreciated.
