Taken in Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast. I think of Cannon Beach as Oregon's smaller & less pretentious version of Carmel. This type of wood shingle architecture can be seen all over town, as can many colorful flowers...

Architecture always grabs my attention. So do rich, lush foregrounds. The wood textures, highlights and shadows compliment your striking composition. Nice!
I wonder if you can still buy Haystack bread at the bakery? When I was a kid, Cannon Beach was my favorite place ever. I still like it! :)
