Description
You may have noticed I have not posted much lately - I have had all sorts of computer issues which have been going on for months. I have finally agreed to get a replacement machine which (so far!) seems to be working fine, so this image is just a little run through to get back in the saddle, as it were. G2F Olympia with Xdress and my own Carrara hair, rendered with Octane Render for Carrara and using my own material definitions for skin, eyes, teeth etc.
Thanks for your continued support, I hope to be able to post more frequently in the coming weeks!

P.S. This is the second upload - I decided to add real reflective sequins to the dress, 8000 hand-sewn on (OK, I used a surface replicator...), also changed the lighting a bit and added the camera glare, all in Octane. I bet this would look great animated - I may just give that a try!

Good to hear you have a new workstation back on line, and are posting again. Great Olympia render, and excellent use of lighting and shaders on her hair and dress especially. Very impressive work!

Wow, you do get the most from Octane! Great hair (I am a fan of all your hair), Dress is amazing. Did you get an off the shelf computer? I have had an the same ASUS computer with an I7 processor for almost 5 years now. Best computer I've bought! I do use a Quadro card in it, they've always done well for me, even the base entry models.
