Now scale it back a bit. I'm actually standing on a cliff that's perhaps a hundred feet above the beach. See those white blobs at the top of the image? Those are shore birds.

Love this! Clever lady. Nature uses the same patterns at every scale. I remember being impressed by a great early 20th century book called On Growth and Form by the Scottish mathematical biologist D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson (1860–1948).

HA! Thanks for the laugh! I saw there was something not quite right - the distant green area and bare rocks aren't worn down like the foreground. So then I had to read your text, which confirmed my laugh - Tara is pulling our legs! Keep up the good work! :-) Ha, ha, ha!
