A fascinating historical site, worth visiting.
An aging gourd and a bit of thorny something-or-other against an ocotillo fence.

This would make a great Halloween entry....a bit spooky with that aged gourd and those demonic thorns. :) The effect in B&W is superb.

This image holds a lot of fascination for me: first of all - it's in monochrome, a perfect choice here indeed ! followed by the contents - namely a hollowed Gourd/ Pumpkin: 'It's Not All It's Cracked Up To Be' (Cinderella - Rockefella)
- but the thorns are which give this pic the final death knell, to make it look complete... incredible art, Tara
Oh Tara ... I looked at your beautiful gallery ( I was too long no here) and my eyes are always got stuck on this. It is coherent in itself to the smallest detail. No stylistic incongruity to see. Everything fits!! Old, bony, withered and battered / broken. And the perfect choice to monochrome. This still life no better way to set in scene. You have a good eye ... as always * smile *
