Description
In times such as these, when darkness and anger prevail,
It is hard to hold on to innocence and wonder.
All the more need, then, to embrace them fully,
To let them fill you and cast aside dark thoughts.
So I gather my friends around me, my loved ones as well,
And she who sustains my heart and soul, most of all;
I hold them inside me as the most precious of gifts,
I surround them with serenity, and peace, and light.
And I give them innocence and wonder.
