Description
Memphis was no longer a young man. He could feel it, not just in his joints and muscles, but in his very soul. He had fought his battles long ago. He bore the scars to show it. And, now they called upon him again. As though an aging warrior with only one good eye could bring them salvation! It was almost laughable. Most of these men feared him. They feared his icy stare, his horrible countenance, his grim look. They feared what he once was, but was no more, and they shunned him. But, now, with stories of the Crimson Lord's return to power, they looked to him to save them. Well, let them save themselves. There were younger. There were stronger. There was no hope to be found in his sword. And, if that meant there was no hope to be found - SO BE IT.
