OMG - Yesterday in the late afternoon I was in a very bad mood & upset because a big wild bunch of creepy 'aphids' had nearly killed all my precious lil flowers (petunia petticoat) in the pots, René had a look in the net to see what we can do!?! This morning we went in the garden and we cut them all off.
We hope that they will restart growing & flowering!!!! - After this bad adventure I had a walk in my Runtime and there I found that creepy Vladimir - Lol!

Sadly those creepy and evil aphids destroyed your masterpiece here.
It is very costly and a lot of hard work putting up a planter as nice as yours Ute.
The mix of colors are sooooo pretty and they look awesome behind their own little pink fence.
I do hope they will regrow and return in full bloom once again for you.

Creepy guy! He would scare almost anything away - but aphids. Hope the flowers recover.
Very creepy. Well you can be like me. I have not one single growing plant in my yard. I got it that way as I can not take care of a yard. I just walk around with a plant killer spray. I do get a lot of flowers growing in my front yard. Pansy's I think. As I live at the end of the street I suspect someone up the street has those flowers. I have asked someone to give me an estimate of what it would cost to replace all the rock and relay the plastic so I will not have flowers and weeds constantly growing. Now am I evil or not. I guess your render could be of me....smile.
Creepy scene Ute!!! you need other bugs that to eat the aphids!!! - spraying the plants with soapy water will also help kill off aphids.
Delightful and wild scene, Ute! If you can, check into the possibility of bringing in some ladybugs/ladybirds - they love aphids - they don't mind eating them without salt or pepper... ;-}
When the title of a place starts with Devil, this means to avoid it.
some ladybugs will more than eat their weight in aphids as well as a green spider(no name). when I stopped in Louisiana to eat some flowers in front of a eating place was loaded with aphids

kann mir deinen Unmut vorstellen. Es gibt ein etwas alchemistisches Mittel, das gerade noch angewendet werden kann (wir haben gerade Beginn Juni). Nimm all die abgeschnittenen Blätter mit den Blattläusen, mache im Grill ein kleines Buchenholzfeuer und wenn nur noch glühende Kohle drin ist, tu die Läuse samt Blättern drauf und lass sie veraschen. Die Asche dann nach dem Erkalten einige Male in einem Mörser oder Pott mit einem Pistill reiben und mit einem Salzstreuer überall da ausbringen in minimaler Menge, wo die Läuse gerne sind. Nach spätetstens 14 Tagen ist der Spuk vorbei. (ich mach das immer, auch mit Schnecken und es funzt. Die Zeit dazu wie gesagt immer ende Mai

Gegen Blattläuse hilft Seife (nicht in die Erde sprühen evtl. abdecken) Einziehen lassen und nach ein paar Stunden wieder ausspülen ;) Hoffentlich bleibt "Vladi" in seinem Bild - haste dich mächtig ausgetobt ;)
