Taken in Santa Fe. After some google image searches, I'm going to go out on a limb & say that these are gazanias. Having said that, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Andrea tells me that I'm wrong...

Very nice flower series. My apologies about being so late for your birthday. I don't really make a big deal of them either because as you say once we are adults it doesn't seem to matter so much. But, I also do not mind at all taking the time here to post something for my favorite artists if I know it is there birthday (or think it is) It is a simple way to wish someone well and hope they have a happy day and many more years to enjoy life. So I wish you all the best a month late. :)
