Description
Captured 5/12/16 @ 11:56 am, at the beautiful La Mirada Regional Park in beautiful La Mirada, California.
It took me hours to remember what it reminded me of. I wish I knew the actual name of the hat.

What a lovely shade tree
I love it a lot and this place is truly beautiful... Marvelous view/capture once again !!!
It is a beautiful tree and I can see how it reminds you of a hat. I saw a lot of these in Perth, Australia and I think they said they were a type of gum. ☺
I've only heard them called coolie hats, which I think might be a bit derogatory, but I don't really know the origin of that term. And that is the shape of the tree, that's for certain. Good eye and excellent shot!
