Lovely ladies from that era, captured 5/1/16, at the beautiful Victorian Fair, held on the beautiful grounds of the beautiful Homestead Museum in beautiful City of Industry, California.
I like the bustles.

As with your Faire series, you have juxtaposition of period costume with modern casual dress. The guy with the mustache and goatee---in "casual modern"---is great contrast to the 3 women and their bustles. (I'm told those are NOT fun to wear, btw.) The far right lady is see flush with that pillar behind her---well composed---and the right side gives open trees in the background to balance the building on the right---well composed once more. More good work bringing out the darks here, in contrast to that really intense light. (Man, that light had to be a freakin' nightmare!!!) Clarity and contrast. More fine work from this shoot.
I finally looked up the museum, btw---and the City of Industry. So, it's not far from LA. And a fascinating concept for the museum. That explains the period dress and some of the other things you've shown us here...
