(I wonder if anyone ever tells robins, "duuuude---you're eating a worm!") (Of course, he could answer, "you ate my 3d cousin last week---so shut up!") A perfect shot of a bird with food in its mouth. And capturing the compactness of the robin---he's packed so tightly. The stalks behind him have a lot of light, and they make a kind of cascading backdrop. A fine shot of a bird. The flickr version does fit Mark's description; while this one is solid as a rock, eating its snack. Not a lotta neck here, just a big compact body with that beautiful orange front...
