Description
My new body (I wish!) which I bought at Dorset Scrapstore on Saturday.
When I delivered a box of unwanted stuff to them earlier in the week they had a great male one with quite a handsome head, but sadly I had no money on me that time.
When I went back someone else had got the bloke..the story of my life.
Cue violins.
He was the sort of bloke I prefer nowadays too, nothing too active below the hips, although on reflection I think he would have been a very poor conversationalist, which I find essential. So maybe not such a loss after all.

Doesn't sound like he would have been of much help around the house so just as well you didn't bring him home. She looks nice although I don't imagine she would be much of a conversationalist either.

I'm not much of a craftsperson myself, but I admire those who are & I really like the concept of a retail store that recycles industrial waste & leftovers. I'm wondering what plans you have for this torso - hopefully you will post the results of any work you do on her...

This reminds me a little of certain paintings by the Belgium surrealist painter Rene Magritte where he uses a female torso.
yes, with MDRogers, it does bring Magritte to mind. But moreso, it's great that you buy things like this. What will you do with it? I can picture you painting or drawing all over it. Or over a jpg of it. It just calls out for designs and journeys and travelogues and crazy creatures with your unique (and very skillful) touch. Also, in zoom, we can see your postwork around it, and it's wonderful. I like that this place recycles scraps and such. Love this upload.
