Honestly, when you first mentioned the "Hughes" house, I thought "Howard Hughes lived here???" (It could happen...) Strong contrasts between the flush orangey beiges of the house, and all that deep rich blue in the sky, and the yellow-greens of the grass, etc. The whites are strong. You got a good angled shot of the place---the kind of house-and-locale that gives me real challenges. Even as a draftsman, I find it hard to get an angle that doesn't feel "in your face" or too factual, like it's a pic for a rental agency. But this pic has real life, due to your handling of hues and the contrasts. And the handling of intense light and shade. That multi-tiled style, made so apparent by the teardrop tiles, is so effective, and works so well with the lace-like wooden trim. (There's another word for "tile," but for the life of me I can't think of it!) (Shingle! That's it...) Love the light in this image.
