Description
Cailin is the main protagonist in an upcoming series Cailin's Journey (a continuing work in progress) for the Writer's Forum that I pray will find favor with the Renderosity community at large.
Cailin is a young half-elf woman living on the world of Aeranor (a Tolkien inspired Middle Earth type scenario), who recently suffering personal tragedy, decides it is time to leave the village she grew up in and explore the world around her. The time period of the tale is twenty-five years after the defeat of a malevolent force called The Lingering Dark. It is however, the nature of the universe that when one evil is vanquished, another will come along to take its place one day... and that day approaches soon.
As Cailin travels throughout Aeranor, she meets various characters and befriends them. Some become part of her entourage and travel with her, others stay only long enough to either impart their wisdom/skills/assistance, while others seek to find weaknesses they will attempt to exploit in their service of the new evil.
With luck, this brief description stirred some interest in my new and hopefully ongoing project. I am looking forward to everybody's comments/critiques/suggestions.
