Very interesting in black and white
the colour photo is nice, but this one is wonderful. I can see why they replaced the bridge. Poor Hetty!

The wooden bridge was more scenic but safety must be served I guess. The black and white gives this a more mysterious and slightly sinister look than the color image.
Great looking B&W but couldn't they make it rusty for you.
I think I better like the old bridge, but I clearly remember, Hetty didnt like to pass it.

I generally prefer color to b&w, but not in this case. Love the variations in dark & light - especially the contrast between the foreground trees in shadow & the background trees in sunlight...
