Description
For about 30 years I am fortunate to live in the very beginning of the Maremma and during that time I could discover uncontaminated corners of this territory, far from the chaos we live in, and there is a place, along the river Mignone, very difficult to get to, where time has really stopped and scenes such as this that I have tried to describe , they are still enjoyable!

Your love for this uncontaminated piece of shoreline, with its marshes and shallow waters, is very evident here. You gave this image a deep buttery yellow, and a honey orange too. It glows. And the near-silhouetted cattle in the background make the image like a dream. There are trees behind the cattle---very faint silhouettes: They're eaten up by the gorgeous light. And I like the marshes in the front, with the bird (and dragonflies): A very photographic composition, as balance to the open areas behind it. You've captured the poetry and paradise-like power of this place. Beautifully done!
