Description
We passed this motorbike on all three days we spent in Budapest (it was just a short block from our hotel) & it doesn't appear to have been moved at all. It was rusty & had flat tires & a seat that was half worn away. Why was it chained to the lamppost? Were all those stickers put on by the original owner or passersby? Why hadn't someone hauled it away? Had it become a beloved urban sculpture? So many unanswered questions...

That certainly does cause some curiosity. I wonder if it is a memorial of sorts for someone who was killed on a motorbike. I googled it and ended up seeing a pretty gruesome sight of someone killed in a bike accident and you can see the Budapest skyline in the photo. I also saw another guy who had posted a photo of himself sitting on the very same bike. He commented and apology to the owner and said no harm intended.
So interesting!
truly an interesting enigma
Awesome find....
My vote would be that it's urban art now...what a great find and shot!
