Description
Katherine (SunriseGirl) Suggested me to paint either Daffodils or Tulip. Thank you Katherine :-)
I chose Tulips, but I didnt have many tulips in my files, so I searched on the internet and found a photo of a bunch of lovely tulips. After having printed the photo out, to have it besides me, I realized there was something wrong with it. I discovered, it was a "constructed" image. A maniopulation. Ok, then I was NOT crazy, seeing the shadows were coming from different directions. Not to mention, that two of the tulips were duplicated and one of them was mirrored. Well, that is ok. An artist is free to do as he/she wants, but I had to rebuilt my motif and add some more imaginary tulips and I had to imagine, how to place the shadows. Well I had fun doing this and one always learns. Now I can throw out the prints. :-)
Thank you for viewing and commenting. :-)

LOL! Isn't it amazing what you see, when you look very closely at something? I have been helping Bill copy all his pictures, and came across one from a LOOOOONG time ago of two birds sitting side-by-side. (Do you remember when he had that bowl of seed on his deck and all the birds came by? It was THAT long ago!) The two birds were really one bird twice, but everyone commented on how fortunate he was to have these two birds lined up so nicely. :P At first glance I'm sure those tulips looked totally normal, but the more you look ... well! ... the more you see. :P You've done a beautiful job of making this bouquet of tulips look just right! :)
How clever of you to first of all notice, and then put it right!
What a fabulous painting my friend... It's really marvelous !!!
My computer is kaput , but I have a tablet which I find difficult to write with. My fingers are too fat for the keyboard or something because I get many typos. So until I get a new computer I am just mostly using the like button...however, I HAD to comment on this!!!! What a lovely job you did especially considering the source material being a manipulated image. Your own manipulations turned out beautifully. I am always so slow at any art I do. I really admire the way you can so freely create your paintings and drawings so quickly. Thanks for taking my suggestion. I love it!
A very beautiful tulip painting and you have mastered the lighting so well. Excellent work.
Fanstastic
It's so pretty! What beautiful work!
Beautiful and excellent manipulation in this rendering of what had been a previously cloned visage of tulips, Helle.
Beautiful painting !!
This is popping out of my screen right away, like you say to all of us: "here you are", just quickly put them in a vase, feed them a little more 'fat', and get the most fantastic flowers in your house or flat. :D You are very clever doing so, dear friend.
Such a beautiful painting, Helle! You are most talented, my friend!
