Description

A mood which (I guess) everybody on Earth knows from own experience? Sharpening my claws (custom Poser material shaders, no postwork), and enjoying to transform a concept to a visible image. Poser Pro 2014GD, Firefly, IDL Greetings to my friends (and friends to be ;-) ) Charlie

Wow, guys, thank you so much for the encouragement :-) I'm very happy it seems to transport the mood well and tells the story.

your lighting setting a really great mood, but details are retained so very well

Haha, Richard, but you DID notice them, didn't you? ;-) I'm very convinced that small details need to remain 'details' and not 'main actors' in a scene, however they always add (on a 'subconcious level') to the whole. Sometimes they are even more powerful when they force the observer to 'investigate' the scene, instead of plain lighting everything to 100 percent, not true? Think of the horror the movie 'Alien' used to create in us, where scenes were extremely dark and we had to complement the few visible things with our own (observers) imagination? By the way, I'm trying the same with my content products, they always have a load of small, barely visible detail in textures (like dirt patches or variation in glossiness or bump) and mesh, retained, as you say, but I have a strong belief that they add (even if not really noticed knowingly) to the overall appearence.
