Description
This is my first Daz Studio render, ever. Daz Studio 4.9. It's hard for me to learn. I've been gone awhile since my horse accident and have not been able to sit at the computer because I could not bend my knee. I fractured both sides of it, and jammed my right leg up into my hip socket. It's been over two months but it still hurts. To top it off I have been having panic attacks from the accident. So I am sorry I missed so much of your work!
I see Rendo is sending out E-bots again which makes it much easier to comment. I'm going to the horse barn Thursday and try to ride but I am scared. My horse has a wild streak in him because he is an ex-racehorse and he took off with me. I am 64, and not so fast with my reactions. I don't want to quit riding horses but I may have to because of my age and arthriitis. Very sad for me. Sorry to bother you with my problems, but I wanted to explain my absence. I really miss all of you! Thanks for stopping by!!!!

I fear for your life when you tell me you can't trust your horse but still want to ride it after your latest tumble! I realize you love riding and are most reluctant to give it up, but I hope you weigh all the elements before getting back on that particular horse. As someone suggested above, perhaps you might consider a more reliable horse for your next ride and not try your luck with a stick of dynamite again. This is just my thoughts on your particular situation. But what do I know. I am just a poor little ole farm boy from North Dakota. I had some very limited experience with horses growing up, but nothing compared to yours, I am certain. Take care, Sherrie, and give this some serious thought. We want you to be around here for a long long time yet! At 64, you should have at least another 50 years of good art work ahead of you! This is a marvelous render for your first attempt at using DAZ Studio. I have tried it off and on over the past years but I always come back to Poser. But this is a great looking first image! Well done! Bravo!

Fantastic light and mood. A wonderful image. I can empathize a little how you feel. Since my cancer surgery, five years ago, I have some physical limitations also. We will all not getting any younger.

I'm so glad you're doing better, and hope the pain will subside quickly. I do hope you're able to continue riding, and least sometimes - I know it means a lot to you. On the other hand, we're all getting to that age where we break easier! Just be careful, my friend!

Great first render. I really like how you did the lighting. Get well and maybe a calm friendly horse might be in order. I wish you luck. No one wants to give up their passion.
Good God this is amazing. And as far as your horse goes, I completely understand. My wife fell off her Morgan-Friesian last year, breaking her neck in several places and doing some massive damage to herself internally. She is still recovering as we are youngsters in our fifties but she loves her horse and has gotten back on already. It wasn't easy but she did it, and I hope the best for you as well. Your image and story are both - inspirational.
