Description
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. My current Vue project remains sluggish but is progressing. Just like the clingy January cold which will soon give way to Groundhog Day and the brutal but somehow more hopeful February cold. Though fortunately, not as bad as last year so far, -35C on one night. I feared that my well maintained but still nine (9) year old car was not going to start and get me home from a certain big box parking lot that time. With such chilling visions in mind, I thought that I'd dig up a little summer for us to enjoy. I took this picture back on Canada Day - 1 July 2015. Our cat, Lilly, was out and about doing an inspection of the rarely green backyard. There was considerably more rain in 2015 - from my perspective anyways - so unlike any other year, my teeny-tiny lawn did not turn brown and ragweed infested. In other news, I finally posted my very first video to YouTube. It features Lilly attending to her favourite pastime, guarding the house against her arch nemesis: Oscar, the Russian Blue. Truth be told, we're not sure if Oscar is a Russian Blue. He can certainly pass for one in the gloom of the evening. Before we learned his real name, we used to call him Vladimir. Because of this likeness and for his habit of invading other peoples' territory and taking their stuff. You do not see him in the video but Lilly is always strategizing in preparation for an incursion. And then tells him off through the window. Enjoy.

Adorable... Marvelous capture also !!!
Wonderful capture and story
A excellent capture, my friend! Well done!
A lovely capture and Lilly is so cute. She has a great seat in your video and makes the most of being able to see in all directions.
Excellent
Handsome moggie!
Cor and a thousand points for making your gorgeous cat the star of the show.
Good photo, it remind me of the neighbor cat looking at my mother porch, where she feeds the gray squirrels hoping catch one. Those same gray squirrels at that time come up behind that started make noises to play with cat. That cat was more twenty feet away hiding behind a tree and those squirrels still able see that cat at that time.
Actually, we have a grey squirrel in our neighborhood who likes watch Lilly through the back window when she's inside. It gets quite comical sometimes as Lilly REALLY wants to catch the big fat guy with the fluffy tail.
very beautiful
