Taken from the docks where our cruise ship was moored. We never crossed the Danube to the modern side of the city for what I think are obvious reasons...

Understandable, it could be any city in any country; the historical stuff is so much more interesting!
You made a beautiful shot of the modern side. I like very much how you made the contrast between the darker underside of the bridge and the brilliant sunshine reflected off the modern buildings.
I like your POV! I wouldn't want to go on the other side either if I had cruised the Donau!
With Katherine, fine contrasts in this shot. And though it's a side of Vienna that would seem pedestrian after the glories you showed us, it's still a glowing shot, with a big looming dark bridge hovering over it. A highly contrasted dramatic skyline shot.
