Beautiful shot! That spot is all covered with snow now.
Love those mountains!!!
beautiful country
trying to catch up on some of the recent ones I missed. This is a big craggy expertly detailed and sharp capture of trees of all sizes and shapes, across a big hilly landscape. The left-front tree seems to be the end of a 'line' of them---like a chorus line, lined up. And fine detail in the needles and leaves. With background hills that seem desolate, though dappled with greenery. A striking shot, filled with lots of sharp energies. And very, very pleasing and full.
A gorgeous photo, Richard! I'd love to visit there someday.. Heck, I'd just love to get away from here for a week.... :-P
Breathtaking nature scene. Love all the trees and mountains. I also like the way the POV angles up into the sky.
Where's the lake, though? :)
