I agree with the comment above about energy - everything seems to be in motion in this image. I remember a comic (might have been Jerry Seinfeld) making a remark about the redundancy of the phrase "ice capades" - because, after all, what other kinds of "capades" are there?

A super abstract with lovely colors and great sprays of wavelike swirls. Excellent work with a lovely serene feel which I think you have achieved more with the colors than with the design. I love it. 😄

And, I had to bundle up and wear mittens just to view and comment through this pristine abstract of glacial beauty, Mark. Brrrrr! Is this what the crew in the crow's nest of the Titanic saw that April night just before it scraped the iceberg? Beautiful sweep of transparent liquids, plus bluish and green colors, frozen in time.

A marvelous fluidity about this. Wonderful horizontal wavelike motion across the image.

I can totally see the fluidity and the movement of an ice skater in this. What a whoosh of graceful motion!

The winter really does put on a unique and lovely show of color and texture and mood. Your artwork portrays this beautifully. I like that dancing wave or splash in the center, adding a creshendo of movement. The title of your image brought back childhood memories of going to the Ice Capades with my mom every year. It was a special thing she and I did together, and I always loved this experience with her so much. And the glory of seeing all the costumes and ice dancing always thrilled and inspired me. I remember sitting through the show completely mesmerized.

A graceful and dashing swoop of an image, Mark; racing across the ice leaving a trail of sparks flinting off the blades, this skater is gone in a flash, leaving only the illusion of presence melting on the ice surface. Magical!

This is gorgeous, Mark! Wonderful colors and movement - a treat for the eyes as always!

We used to go to the Ice Capades every year back in the day.... They always came to KC in March, so it was our little celebration of spring being around the corner. I guess they went belly-up.. Sad.
