Description
I've been going thru some old fotos and found this one of my son's dog, Barger. He was a water dog, loved swimming, fetching, and paddling around in anything wet. We lost him about 2 years ago; he was 14. You just never forget them.

Looks like a great dog.
What a wonderful photo to help keep his memory strong.
When I just saw the title I wondered if the photo would be of a lake in northern Arizona. When I was a kid we went there with my aunt for a little vacation. But, I am pretty sure Waterdog was owned by the military for their own personnel. My uncle was a colonel in the air force at that time.
Great pic! He had a perfect life!
cute shot
Wonderful photo! thanks for sharing your memories with us
He looks very lovable! But then, I've never met a dog I didn't love...marvelous memory!
yeah, with the above, it's a great dog pic, and a great memory. And it has a little of Andrea's avatar in it too. (Very different, but still a dog swimming with its head out of water.) I assume that's a stick; but it also looks like a pipe. Or maybe a really big sausage. Amazing how dogs find these things and just don't let go of them. Great dog shot, and an archetypal capture of a dog in water. If I had to swim with that thing, I'd be going crazy; but dogs do it without thinking. Love the water textures too. Wonderful shot of your beloved Barger.
