Description
With all the discussion about race these days in the US, folks seem determined to forget that skin tone and racial features comprise less than 0.1% of our overall DNA. It's almost like the other 99.9% doesnt really matter by comparison, that instead we should throwing those differences out there instead of the similarities that make us all human.
Maybe it comes from "being of a certain age", but I gotta tell you: I'm over this bullshit. If you dont want to like someone just because of skin colour, then, hon, you got more issues than I can deal with in a webcomic. And if you think you're superior to someone else — for whatever reason — because of your skin colour, then you *really* got some issues to deal with. But as with any addiction, it's gonna first take admitting you have a problem... and I dont see a lot of people anywhere doing that. Maybe we all just think that the tissue paper wrapping is what makes us *special* and not the quality of the gift inside.
Tomorrow: a new storyline, taking us across the Pond, as it were. Hope you enjoy it.

Luckily I was raised by parents who believed that it wasn't color but actions that made a person what they are. The color of your skin, the place of your birth, the size of your bank account nor the person you love makes you any better or worse than the next person. I just don't get these bigots at all. Hopefully the next generation will rise above all of it and make a better world.

You know, a couple of decades ago I was a member of a club limited to people who scored in the top 1% of IQ in the world. You could say I was slumming because according to my GRE aptitude test results I score in the top 2 or 3 tenths of 1% of IQ in the world. Now that you despise me for being an intellectual snob I will continue with my presentation. Smile
Discussion of a book intended to prove that rich black people were genetically superior to poor black people came up. The book was called “The Bell Curve” 22 our of 24 chapters were dedicated to proving that rich people were genetically superior to poor people. Only one chapter even discussed blacks and said that the overlap in intelligence was so great that you couldn’t evaluate a persons IQ by their race. The only logical conclusion is that Rich Black people are genetically superior to poor white people.
Naturally the book produced very strong and emotional responses from both the right and left. Equally naturally all of the responses showed a complete ignorance of anything the book said. Of course, the book should have been in the science fiction section of the library, not the science section. I checked out book and a stack of other books on related topics and began a casual and occasional investigation into the issues involved.
Scientific studies have shown that members of black and hispanic communities subconsciously accept the racial bias against them as true, but believe that they are alright and that it’s the other people who are messed up.
A study of homicide patterns in black communities showed that black parents would kill a black son 1.5 times more often than they would kill a black daughter. It also showed that black women killed their husbands more often than white men killed their wives.
This clearly shows that in the black community there is an acceptance of the idea that everything bad that white people said about black people is true about black men and not black women. The author of the study, a white feminist college professor, reached the conclusion that this was because black men are such subhuman brutes that even when they are newborn infants black women just have to kill them in self defense.
Black women confronted with these findings did not disagree, they just didn’t want her talking about it. This, again, clearly shows a pervasive prejudice against black men in the black community. Black women are the most racist people in the US and they are prejudiced against black men. They love them, but they believe, in private, that everything bad white people ever said about black people is true about black men.
Young black men grow up with this crushing burden of negative expectations from the day they are born.
Another study showed that the nerd penalty, how likely you are to be beaten up or killed, is greater in hispanic and black communities than in white communities.
Any black youth stupid enough to try to get an education will get beaten up to the cheers of young black women by other black youths and possibly killed. He certainly will not get laid. This is a profoundly powerful carrot and stick to destroy young black men before they have a chance to get really started in life.
Then young black women grow up, discover those bad boys they thought were so sexy in high school don’t make good husbands and kill them more often than white men kill their wives.
Another scientific study showed that black women are treated exactly the same as white women in the workplace when education and job experience are taken into account. There are today 6 black women with good educations and good jobs for every black man with a good education and job. Black women have been enjoying ‘white privilege’ since the 1970s. If you think about it, I am sure your life experience will provide you with many illustrative examples which prove these things.
The only thing the government can do to help young black men is to institute same sex high schools to protect young black men from young black women while they are supposed to be getting an education. These are the real facts of what is happening. I thought you should know.
