Either he didn't dare say "No", or he was so attracted by them, or maybe he's just biding his time for a good bite and drink (you know, that red stuff that runs out when you get a cut). A rather different scene - in a forest. Great versatility! I just love this. And MadBat winking, looking like an upside-down rabbit! Haaaa! Or is that a flirt? Keep up the good work! :-)

another delight from you, with really strong detail...with the textures on the tree and the rocks and the bat, the quality of light on the clothes (luminous, with fine faint shadows), the detail on the many branches, etc---all really finely done. And all as part of a wonderful fun piece, with that great Lewis Carroll-like, alice-in-wonderland bat, upside down and with those great contrasts of black and (what?) ochre-peach tones in its wings. And great textures on his face and ears, with one eye winking...Terrific. You also did a great job with partially hiding the girls behind the branches and leaves. And the leaves give light to the image along with those luminous clothes. I can totally see why you want to be free of your work hours: These art pieces take real concentration and time, and I hope you get plenty of both so you can continue your terrific offerings. A total delight; and I love the shadows on the women---they're almost painted on with a faint chinese brush...
