Very nice scene.
Every so often you turn to 'cool' tones, cool-modern tones; and you are as comfortable with them as you are with your more familiar warm tones. This is a very cool-toned office, with terrific grays and whites and blacks. And the furniture is 'cool', as is the bookshelf (filled with files, I believe), and the chart on the wall, and the lamp, the printer (is that a Mac printer, lol?), and the door, and floor, etc. Oliver is dressed in grays too---a very smart outfit---though his shirt, I think, has an light peach-tone. (He's wearing great shoes too.) The only real color here is in a few places: Some spots on the chart, the plant pot, some gold pen holders, a few of the files in the bookshelf, the pictures on the wall, and on the secretary---who stands out because of her distinctly pink tones and her crimson shoes. When I was in graduate school, I had a girlfriend who had shoes that very color; and she got compliments wherever she went. (She was an artist, and she dressed in whatever colors struck her spirit each day.) Your colors are beautifully done; and, for all the coolness, there's a genuine warmth between Oliver and his secretary. Very fine design work, Ute, with a warm relation between the two people at its center.
I think Oliver is a happy man. Not to sure his wife would like it. Nice scene and yet another favorite of mine. Thanks
