Description
This is the window between my kitchen and the studio, which used to look out onto the back drive, which is why it has this sort of glass.
I shan't replace it as I like the many effects it gives in various lights.

You don't see much of this glass anymore.
Great capture! reminds me of the glass bricks and the distortion they have.
I don't blame you for not replacing it
Very nice
An interesting distortion effect...
I like the effect very much Andrea. Beautiful capture.
Or perhaps something by Dali? This is very cool. Brilliant work.
It's brilliant! I love this, and there is endless opportunity for different abstracts resulting from it!
yes, this feels like a room seen through the thick glass bricks one sees on the corners of doctors' offices, or accountant offices. The distortions are wholly glass-like, and your postwork has atomized it for grain and grit and also a kind of painterly effect on various of the hues. With milky melds and such. Fascinating vertigo-laden abstract of a portion of your home. And the flickr version is even more of an abstract, almost like pieces of glass and metal made into a sculpture. Love what you do with these sights. Always looking for the art wherever you are...
Outstanding capture and post work Andrea. God bless.
A really cool effect. Looks like a painting.
I wouldn't replace it either. It must be like a changing piece of art every time you walk by it! I think I might spend more that a little time in front of the window, sort of swaying back and forth, watching the world change on the other side. :)
Lovely!
