Beautiful job! Have a wonderful new year.
Beautiful work! Happy New Year!
Excellent image mate, I need some warm atmosphere, lol. The GI or GR settings really make it shine, I love Vue renderings with these expensive effects.
I know you're in the sciences, but it's biochemistry or biology, if I recall...right? Or related? Yet you show genuine geological understanding in your straight landscapes, which I don't often see in many Vue pieces. Of the texture and nature of rock and soil, of plants and how they're distributed across space, of the way light and shadow play off of them. Of the interplay of such surfaces with atmosphere, space and water (and canyons, etc). A great deal of understanding in these landscapes. The foreground surface---those reddish-brown rocks, with purples and other hues woven in---is beautifully done. As are the bush speckled rocks behind it. And the mist and distant bluffs. Beautifully done. I would wish you happy new year, but considering it's now the end of APRIL, I'll forego it. (A little late...) But it's a beautiful image to usher in the new year. Very finessed work, Craig. Your straight landscapes are always wonderful.
