magic, for the composition, but also for the shimmering light, esp in the back, where the trees and tufts appear made of cotton. I assume we're looking at snow-dusting, and your composition takes us into a winding journey off to the right, where that big tree is a beautiful marker. A very packed shot, for one that has so much water in the middle. Beautiful and enchanting, Richard.
Very nice capture. I like the lighting very much. Does it have a specific reason that the ISO value has been set so high? Personally, I always try to avoid a high ISO value, because it can lead to an noise.

A lovely shot, Richard! One doesn't normally think of snow and an ice glaze on the water in places like Nevada - but it can get really cold in the desert.
