Description
these is cypress trees by a lake swamp name Lake Martin. i needed to paint a landscape for an upcoming show on landscapes. so here it is. I been wanting to break away from music and i did now i got a ton of ideas for music i like to try out lol.
Thoughts of the music was passing in my head. did not write none down lol. it ok They be there when i start .

ditto, Mike! Your colors and brushwork on those trees---to die for. THey're so immediate, so visceral...so touchable. I love the broad deep rust oranges. And you've rendered the lawn and plants into rich strokes and wonderful lights. And a wonderful job on the water---it's almost like the reflections are live growing plants. I love your shadow too, and the roof or home way back there. Terrific, Jock. And it's ok if you move away from music when you have to: The rest of the universe is dying to have you paint it! It's waiting in line...so the music can wait...Those trees keep calling me back, Jock.

Okay, it appears I cannot view the comments field in Internet Explorer any more. Well done Renderosity for making a simple thing more complicated than it has to be. :P
Now, as to the image itself. For one thing, I am more interested in viewing this than going to see the new Star Wars tonight, as my wife has just suggested in the moment I am writing this. Why? Because this is real, physical art. Whilst I am happy that we have the chance to share something digitally, the knowledge that this is the direct interpretation between brain and materials made of solid matter is somehow much more beautiful and more connecting. Here, I see the world through your eyes. It is a dazzling world, with a little of the lustre that Van Gogh loved to use. I like the confidence of your brush strokes and the vibrancy by which you have attacked the canvas with them. A very enjoyable piece to view. Thank you.
