Happy Birthday, Ute! I didn't do a dedi because I'd done one for you a few weeks back. But happy birthday, and many more! This image captures the exhaustion after a long celebration---though this woman also had a tough fight. And it looks like she didn't win the fight. Very fine work on her pose and her deep shadows. And on her muscles and shirt, etc. And those are very shiny, clean gloves too. (And you even got the huge number of shoe-laces that boxers wear.) The couch is beautifully "minimalistic"---it's almost avant garde. As is your background. After your usual highly rich and varied backgrounds, seeing a minimal background like this is a real contrast; and I love how modern and simple it feels. The shadows in red are very effective for the woman's mood. A fine piece---and if this is how you feel, today, I hope you get your energy back soon! Wonderful work.
