Credits: Everyone with a heart gets carried away by love, one way or another. This mixed medium artwork is a combination of alcohol ink and digital painting. From my Organica Collection. Feeling a bit whimsical today, moving past Christmas and already on my way to Valentine's Day.

ooh, I just love this; and even though you're looking a bit ahead to Valentine's Day, this is perfect for Christmas, Chanukah and New Year's, because it's about love, and about childhood. I just love how you've used the alcohol inks to create all those 'drop' textures, and how many reds and pinks you created in the balloon bouquet. I can't stay now, as I've been called away; but instead of waiting till I got here for a longer comment, I wanted to acknowledge this now; and I'll return soon to leave a bigger comment. (And I'll get to the other 2 as well.) So look for the notification a second time...But this is childlike, playful, and visually beautiful. We can touch it and expect it to touch back. And thank you for your wonderful comments this morning---the uploads were erased by 2 terrific children, and it was my fault for not watching them as they bounded into the computer, pressing everything in sight; but I saw all 4 of your comments, and I thank you very much. I read them all. More soon...you're posting a lot these days, and it's really grand!
Mark, thanks so much for the 'short version' of your comment. I'm so glad you enjoyed this image. I did have fun creating all those different red and pink hues. I think whenever I see a big bunch of balloons they always bring a smile and a fond memory of childhood. And I also wanted to give this an adult theme as well, with the poem and being carried away by love. Though love can get you in over your head, I can think of worse things to be carried away by. :o) Sorry to hear some children erased your last images as they were quite amusing and I enjoyed giving my response. Glad you saw my comments before they were sent into cyberspace, never to be seen again.
