Funny, the tree and little branches and twigs remind me of a leaf skeleton :) Maybe it is the postwork. It looks mighty beautiful. Here, one can learn how to draw twigs and branches on a tree. This tree could easily stand alone against the sky, if there had been space for it. I guess there wasnt :-) Lovely shot indeed. :)

I like the way the house is revealed behind the networks of branches & your postwork gives it the look of an elegant illustration - one that might perhaps serve as a book cover for a haunted house mystery...

Naked against the sky, if I may borrow one of my oft used titles. Love the raw silhouetting in these type of fotos. Other than their dark tortuous, serpentine shapes, I always feel a sense of evil when I see trees in this condition. Otherwise, an excellent stark capture, Mark.

great POV

It almost looks like an English view, with those chimneys; what a marvelous scene beyond that beautifully denuded tree trunk!

I love the crispness of the image. I want to grab the camera and push it down so I can see that lovey building. And so many fire places, is it a single dwelling building, or multiple apartments. And how wonderful it must be when all those fireplaces are going and the neighborhood has that fireplace scent in the air.
