a total delight, Ute, with this whisperer looking like an old sorcerer, giving a very important command to his dragon, who sits on his hands the way a bird sits on a bird-trainer's hands. Very well done in his hair, his eye specs, his beard, that great old gown, the dragon with its huge wings (larger than the dragon's body)...even little things like the plumb in the whisperer's hand and the key on his belt. The rest of the image is an old medieval castle with lots of wonderful detail, incl throw pillows, lanterns, chains, very old books, candles, low groined arches, and even a portrait in the background---looks like something from the 1600s, Dutch maybe. And some bats, of course.!A very playful piece with wonderful detail. A total delight, Ute, and your use of reds, browns and yellows makes it feel like a warm glowing interior (with blue in the background for contrast)...

A very rich scene as far as color/atmosphere is concerned, well executed, as far as craft and narrative are concerned.
