well i finally read up on this place: amazing history. They replaced/repaired it several times, I see, incl recently (on the plaster!). Man, a leak in a place like this has to be a disaster! As for your shot, another eye popping looking-up pov, and I love the wild optical illusion it creates, like we're looking "in"---to little chapels or alcoves. Again your clarity and vividness is spot-on. And so many angles and shapes here, plus lanterns upside down, a real eye-popper, esp in this setting. Wonderful shot. How can anyone pray in there, when all this visual activity is just popping all around them???
Wonderful shot.
Marvelous ceilings!

Really beautiful - looks like it was just painted. A great shot of this ornate church, Richard!

I was quite surprised at first when I saw this. Do they actually have interior designs like these in a catholic church? Only when I looked more carefully did I realise it's actually the ceiling. :D Beautiful and clever!
