I like the languid feeling you achieve with the pastel colors. It's very relaxed. Are they in a cemetery? Is that a gravestone to the far right? That should be moved (or removed), as it doesn't add anything to the scene and, because it's kind of in line with the tailgate, it almost looks like it's resting on the tailgate. And, I'm a bit torn on the color of the truck. The green definitely brings harmony to the image, but I can't help but wonder if an orange or some other shade might help contribute to the feeling that the summer is over. Perhaps a gold or pumpkin color (suitably muted, of course). And, finally (in what must seem like a lot of type about an image I like), the guy with the mustache: is he wearing suspenders or overalls? The button (or something) is right in line with his nipple, and that's a confusing image. This would be stronger if we could more clearly see that he's wearing overalls (go to a darker blue) or just remove the bib or suspender and have his chest be bare, as well. Well, I think you achieved the lighter look that 'mmitchell_houston' was wanting, but it appears you may have opened up a Pandora's box as far as his criticisms go, well meaning though they seem! LOL! I love this image! It is a most beautiful and moving creation! Bravo and many fine kudos! I wouldn't change a thing!
