Description

Caleya and NarieFah were watching as the Red and Green dragons battled each other in the sky. Caleya had experienced many attacks by the cursed fireworms, but never had she witnessed dragons battling each other. It was an amazing sight, to say the least, and the two elves were both in awe at the spectacle. By now the fighting was quite distant and still moving away, but they could still easily see what looked like flashes of lightning in the clouds. But instead of being white, this lightning was colored red or green from the light of the dragon fire. The Green Dragons chased the fireworms until it was certain they had been beaten and were heading home. At that point the Green Dragons broke off their pursuit and started flying back to the tower. Caleya and NarieFah looked at each other and wondered what would happen next. On their return the Green Dragons circled overhead and started a slow descent. Then one by one they landed and moved over to the tower. It was not long before all three dragons were right up against the tower and peering over the walls at the two elves. Caleya did not like this at all, she felt trapped with three dragons literally breathing on them. It didn't matter that these were supposedly friendly dragons, they were dragons and all her experience told her dragons can not be trusted. Moreover she didn't know if they could even understand each other, certainly there had never been any communications with the fireworms. In total contrast NarieFah was completely enjoying the experience and was totally captivated by these majestic creatures. She was just gazing at them and after some time said out loud "They are magnificent!" Caleya was not sure but it seemed to her that this may have pleased the dragons. Still no one spoke and for a long while they just stared at each other in silence. Finally, Caleya couldn't take it any more. But not wanting to take her eyes off the dragons, not even for a moment, she cupped her hand and spoke out of the side of her mouth saying, "NarieFah, I think they are waiting for us to give them the egg! Where did you hide the dragon egg?" NarieFah was still enraptured and didn't answer. After a frustrating delay Caleya said louder, "NarieFah did you hear me?, Where did you hide the egg?" Finally NarieFah spoke, "The egg? Oh, I hid it on the Orc's cart, it is in that big iron pot." Caleya shook her head in disbelief and turned to look at NarieFah saying, "I can't believe you hid the dragon egg in the Orc's cooking pot!" Then she turned around and looked through the window where the cart should have been - but it was gone!. In a shaky voice she said, "NarieFah, please tell me you know where the cart went?" NarieFah spun around and looked through the window, No Cart! Then she jumped up on the wall to get a better view, but still there was no cart in sight and she exclaimed, "OH, S**T!" "Caleya, the orc beast, it must have got scared and run off!" Caleya said to herself, "Wonderful, the orc beast ran off with the egg, it is lost again and if we can't explain this to the dragons we are both going to be well cooked meat!" Caleya was trying to think what they should do next, but before she could say anything they were both startled by a low rumble coming from one of the dragons. It sounded like, laughter! -------- Thanks to those who asked if Caleya and NarieFah would have more adventures. I do plan on finishing the final chapters in this series but I needed a break :) I hope my friends will enjoy this chapter in the Fallen Tower series. Thanks for viewing and for the previous comments - I very much enjoy reading them!!!

Wow, you really put the time in with the story and render. I have been away so this is my first time viewing your work. Sometimes it is nice to be a virgin....smile. Anyway, I hear songs when I view renders...no voices yet thank God. The song I heard before I read your story was... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YL4OWXiV8LY

Someday... centuries from now, digital archeologists will uncover this image lol... and they will base their theories about our society on it. Everybody knows that!! Wonderful work, my friend... it's a pleasure to enter your gallery and enjoy your creations.
