for some reason, Yves, this image is zooming on its 'side'...that happened with your Marilyn Monroe image too, and I don't know why. So I turned it the right way (Ie, with her head on top and your signature at the bottom). It's a very introspective portrait, as the woman looks down, and she's lost in thought, and she folds her arms as if to protect herself. The black sun adds to her sense of introspection---and it's also a beautiful "foil" to her. (A faire-valoir? I hope I used that word correctly.) Her reds and whites are beautiful against that black. And I love how you end the image at her arms---we only see her upper torso. As always, you use white space beautifully. And you crop the painting close to her, so she really fills up her space. Beautiful work, Yves, it's introspective and very sensitive. And it's more highly refined work from you.
