Captured way back on 9/26/06, early am, somewhere around the neighborhood.
Time has dimmed my memory....I may have posted this one long ago.

Beautiful sunset! Interesting to see leaves on the trees though, ours are all but gone now.
As for the leaves on the trees, check out when this pic was taken.
Those are the kind of sunrises that make it worth getting up for.
I've posted some shots that were in my back-gallery, it's perfectly ok if you do it once in a while, one can't remember every shot they ever posted. (And finding them in the present RR setup can be very tedious...) A big splashy sunrise, almost oil-paint in feeling, with big chunks of clouds (some thick, some wispy) all colliding to get to that sun! And a deep bottom frame, with the tips of roofs and trees in stark silhouette. Quite a dramatic shot---like a solar explosion. A heck of a capture that exploded right out of the horizon!

What a breathtaking sky photo; that pool of gold around the sun colours the clouds just enough to make everything harmonize perfectly, and the way the clouds are wisping in all directions reminds me of curly hair...wonderful!
